Overview

A Diploma in Design Technology is an advanced educational program that specifically emphasizes the practical use of design concepts and technology to develop creative and ground breaking solutions. The program integrates principles from design, engineering, and technology to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to create, construct, and execute innovative solutions.

Upon successful completion of the Diploma in Design Technology program, students will gain expertise in technology and engineering foundations, including electronics, mechanics, and materials science. Expertise in teamwork and effective project coordination. Skilled in proficiently communicating and delivering persuasive presentations.

After successfully finishing the diploma program, students can choose to further their education by enrolling in a bachelor’s degree program provided by either the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology or the Faculty of Technical, UTHM and Vocational Studies, UTHM. This can lead to enhanced job opportunities and higher income potential.

 

Entry Requirements

• Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least credit in three (3)
subjects; OR

• Possess Sijil Kemahiran Malaysian (SKM) Level 3/ Sijil Vokasional
Malaysia (SVM) (Note: The Higher Education Providers (HEPs) are to
conduct screening and provide necessary guidance specific to the
discipline of the programme); OR

• A certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in
relevant field with at least Cumulative Grade Point (CGPA) of 2.00; OR

• A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least

Overview

A Diploma in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) is a post-secondary degree that teaches students computer science fundamentals and AI ideas. Students will learn to build AI-powered systems and apps after the curriculum. One example is using machine learning techniques to practical problems.

Students can also analyze data using statistical and machine learning methods. Students can create software applications using Python, Java, and C++. Understand the moral and social effects of AI and its uses.

With a Diploma in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence), students have computer science fundamentals and programming. Student may pursue degree programs such as
